This project is a concept pitch/idea for a action adventure game set within a modern world full of dangers and hope
This part is the Pre-production part where ideas and concepts are made. The task was to make a two game-characters. My self and my cat, as two stylized characters. Me as a 10 year old and my cat who is 10 year old this year. But he is a tiger-sized and intelligent cat who is my loyal companion through this story.
Story:
In reality, Joakim is a introverted boy that has social anxiety and finds it challenging to do the smallest of things in life. Lars is a normal sized housecat and his best friend. He helps Joakim to focus and to relieve himself from all the daily stress from school and friendships. Through Joakim’s point of view, the relationship is more like a brotherly bond, and his imaginative mind makes these stressful daily events into a bigger and more exciting world where animals are bigger and smarter, but the Badger King who lives in the underground threatens life on the surface, and makes the world into a dark, dark place, driven by fear. The Badger king needs to be stopped.
